| Your guide, Captain Robin Thayer is a Master Maine Guide and U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain. She has been guiding professionally since 1995. In addition to fishing for all species found in Maine, she has traveled to Yellowstone National Park for trout and grayling, the Florida Keys and U.S. Virgin Islands for bonefish and barracuda, and western New York state for salmon and steelhead. Her favorite fishing experience is right here in her own backyard, catching large striped bass in shallow water on a fly rod. | ||

Her philosophy on guiding is simple... provide excellent service, use quality equipment that is well maintained, operate a clean & safe boat, and work as hard as possible to find fish for her clients. These basic guiding principals have led many of her fishing clients to return season after season. | |
|
Captain Robin Thayer is a member of the Maine Professional Guides Association. She has conducted numerous casting clinics, lectures, and fishing seminars. She has also worked as a fly fishing instructor at the L.L. Bean Flyfishing School in Freeport, Maine. |
