Salt Water Trips

Striped Bass * BlueFish * Mackerel

has some of the best salt water fishing action on the entire Northeast
coast. Each spring, schools of striped bass migrate to Maine's tidal
waters for the summer. You will find striped bass to be great sport
on flies or light spinning gear, regardless of your experience level.}

_{Depending
on tide, water temperature and time of day, stripers will be found in a
variety of locations including open bays, beaches, rips & currents,
ledges and shallow mud flats. Your guide will show you the proper
techniques and presentation tips for catching these prized game fish in
various conditions.}

_{Bluefish
and Mackerel also visit Maine's coast during the summer months.
Bluefish are fierce predators and put up a fight that will leave even an
experienced angler weak in the knees. Mackerel are a prime source of
bait for both stripers and blues, they are particularly effective when
used as live bait around ledges and islands. Trolling or jigging for
Mackerel can be a wonderful way to introduce children to the world of salt
water fishing.}
